Here is my experience of my stay with OYO Rooms Jaipur, late night check-in, friendly environment and ever helping staff, in the month of March, when I was on a road trip with some of my friends and planned a two day journey.
So the journey started here, last month we planned a road trip to Jaipur as it was my girlfriend’s birthday and we decided to spend some time together. A few more friends also planned to join us and thus we booked a XUV from Zoomcar. We started our journey at around 6:00 pm from Delhi and thought to reach Jaipur by 10:30 pm, so we didn’t booked any hotel thinking to find a good one when we will reach, but it was our luck and traffic that we reached Jaipur at around 1:00 am in the midnight. We took a round in the city to see if some hotel is available and ended up with no results.
After sometime a friend suggested to check the OYO Rooms as we had heard that they provide late night check in hotel. I quickly downloaded the OYO app from play store and searched a hotel. It was hardly 5 minutes that I found a good one and turned our car to the directions instructed by the app.
It was really late now, around 1:30 am and we didn’t expected any warm welcomes. As soon as we reached the hotel, the person at the reception greeted us and sent a guard to help us manage the parking against our belief. The guard helped us with the luggage and meanwhile the receptionist helped with check-in process. He collected our ID proofs, provided us with the Wi-Fi passwords and took us to the rooms, it was a good experience at the reception. Again, against the expectation, we were asked for tea/coffee or something else from the kitchen despite of so late in the night.
It was a nice spacious room with well-maintained furniture and belongings. The room was fresh with a pleasing aroma, linen on the bed was also clean and tidy. I thought to take a shower first before going to bed as the journey made us completely tired filled with sweat and dirt. I was surprised to see the bathroom as well, it was very clean and much spacious than we use to have in our cities.
We were told that the breakfast was complimentary, so the next morning we received a call from the hotel staff asking to take the breakfast at the restaurant. After that the person at reception told us about the places to visit around and also handed over a brochure to us with complete details of the places of interest in the city. The hotel staff was overall very friendly and helping and I will give a rating of 5/5 for this.
