There are a lot of mobile phones in the market these days. Most of these are Android phones or we use to call them as smartphones. In earlier days, there was a standard charging technique for all the android phones, hence the chargers are commonly the same. But nowadays, there are smartphones that support fast charging and uses chargers which provides an output of 2A/1900ma. Though some of the current is lost as resistance provided by the USB cable but it charges your mobile devices really fast. In general we use to call these as 2A Charger or Fast Charger as written over these.

Many a times, we need to purchase a new charger or a Power Bank, and there are a lot in the market. Some of these are built by big brands, some by Chinese brands and some others are fake. It happens a lot of times that we bought a new charger for our mobile or a power bank to keep our phone charged always, but we left with very slow or a little charging provided by these chargers.

The moment was very disappointing and sometimes we get into a real mess as well due to this problem. So here comes the big question, “How to find a true 2A Charger for your Mobile”. The answer is a little complicated, as of now you can see the output current printed over the charger itself but the main problem is we do not know whether it is an original one or a copy of same. Although it makes a little difference with this, but what makes the difference is how much output current charger is providing.

So to overcome the problem there are a lot of devices available already but we need something handy and of course without any cost for this. There are a number of android apps which you can use to check the input current of a charger while charging your mobile phone. You just need to plug in the charger in your mobile and switch on the power supply, and the app will show you the results. The chargers which are good enough and really a 2A charger will provide an input current between 1200ma to 1900ma depending on your mobile device. The android app that we used is called as “Ampere” and is easily available in the play store. This app measure both the charging and discharging current of your battery.

If your mobile phone is not connected to a charger, you see the negative current which shows discharging. If you connect a charger then it will show a positive value which means your phone is charging. Please note that the charging value should always be almost double than discharging value in order to charge your phone correctly.
