Before we start with the recipe of this extraordinary refreshing drink, let me describe you some most important health benifits and medicinal values of its ingredients. Rhododendron which is also known as Brunas ke phool or Lali guransh in local languages. It is one of the most effective antimicrobial pigment, having significant killing effects against strains of bacteria like staphylococcus aureus, bacillus subtilis and Microbacterium tuberculoses and fungi like candida. It has also been reported that it has selective cytotoxic activity against human hepatoma carcinoma cell line, that helps in preventing cancer.

Being antimicrobial it has properties to cure skin diseases and disorders. It has also found useful in preventing inflammatory pains, such as spinal cord. Helps in regulating kidney function. An ethanol based extract from the leaves, results in hepato protective property, possibly because of its antioxidant property from quercetin related flavonoid present in the plant, though help in proper liver function.

It is uncommon to take flower pigment as a medicine in a day routine. But one can take adding to a daily meal plan or a diet chart. The drink can be taken any time of a day which is exactly refreshing and have multi nutrient herbal medicinal values too.

Ingredients

To get the drink done, the only few ingredients required are:
– Rhododendron flower petals or pulp(fresh or pure canned)
– Lime juice
– Celery salt
– Carbonated water

Celery salt now a days is easily available in market which u can buy from us also or you can prepare it in your home too. Just you need dried celery sticks and leaves which can be dried under sun. Grind it well with sea salt. And its ready to use.

Celery has its own medicinal values, It is an important food source of conventional antioxidant nutrients, including vitamin C, beta-carotene, and manganese. But its “claim to fame” in terms of antioxidant nutrients may very well be its phytonutrients. Many of these phytonutrients fall into the category of phenolic antioxidants and have been shown to provide anti-inflammatory benefits as well. It also supports digestive system and cardiac muscles.

Recipe

Method of making a drink: In a glass, add paste of fresh petals or pulp, about one third of the glass. Add lime juice and hint of celery salt to it. Add little of sugar syrup as required and top up with carbonated water.
Serve chilled.

Sweat and sour tangy drink, very refreshing with extraordinary medicinal values.
